Red Dead Revolver was an amazing creation by the Rockstar Games which was published and distributed by Take-Two Interactive for the running consoles of that time. The game was released in 2004 and gained huge popularity. The video game is based on a western action-adventure which is played from a third-person shooter perspective. This was the first title in the Red Dead series which paved way for further releases in the arena.
The theme of the game is set in late 1880s and is based on the life of a stout hunter Red Harlow who is excavating the locations in the vicinity to uncover the plot that killed his parents to have a vengeance against it. To give more effect to the classical western feel, the developers have introduced the more blood and over-the-top characters. Also, the game reproduces a “grainy film” effect and uses music from various Spaghetti Western films.
Red Dead Revolver Story Line:
The story begins with Griff and Nate Harlow, finding Gold in Bear Mountain. To felicitate the excavation, they commission the creation of two revolvers with ironed scorpion inscripted on it and one is taken by each one of them.
Griff is later captured by the Mexican army and sentenced to be executed and in return of his release he is asked to give half of the found gold. The proposal is not accepted and the villain kills his partner Nate and his wife. However, Nate’s son Red retrieves his father’s gun and shoots off Daren’s left arm before he escapes.
Years after this incident, Red becomes a bounty hunter and battles against the gang named “Bloody Tom”. Later, the entire game follows the pursuit of Red against his parent’s killer to take revenge against it.
